Arrive in Barcelona and settle into Claris Hotel & Spa. The day is yours to unwind, explore nearby boutiques, or take in the city before our group activities begin.
No group activity has been scheduled for Thursday.
Taste your way around Barcelona with a guide who knows the local haunts. Skip the research and discover the city through its best-loved dishes — jamón, paella, cheese, churros, and more — with sangria and a delicious secret dish revealed on the day.
Discover two of the most beautiful and significant places near Barcelona: the magic mountain of Montserrat and the seaside village of Sitges. In Montserrat, admire the holy monastery, basilica, and atrium (entry included), then reconnect with nature on an easy, scenic hike to St Michael’s cross. Enjoy the mountain from a different perspective as you take in the views.
Next, head to Sitges and take a break for lunch (not included). Enjoy a pleasant walk along the promenade and discover colonial buildings, beautiful palaces, and churches right beside the coastline.
Lunch in Sitges is at your own expense.
Close your stay with a journey through water and history. Set in a restored 18th-century industrial building beside the Born market, AIRE Ancient Baths Barcelona is a peaceful escape from the city — a place to slow down and recharge together.
Discover thermal baths at warm, hot, and cold temperatures, a steam room with aromatherapy, the Thousand Jets Bath, and the salt-water Flotarium. Heated marble seating and AIRE tea offer a relaxing pause between baths. Massage and other treatment experiences are also available at AIRE; our group’s selected experience is still to be confirmed.
The spa time and treatment details are still to be confirmed. If you’re continuing onto the cruise, participation will depend on the final appointment time and your ship boarding requirements.
